Cruising back and forth in Rodney Bay was this fellow in the fruit boat. K tried to get him to pose for a picture, but he kept asking for money, so she walked away and got a picture as he motored off. This was unusual behaviour, we never met anyone else like him...but I guess one has to make a living somehow.
The next two pictures were taken at the plantation we visited on our catamaran cruise. The plantation house was incredibly beautiful, large and I wish we could have seen the inside.
These two cats were hanging about the lunch area, hoping for handouts. They were extremely nervous, and it took a few minutes to encourage them to get close enough to take the picture.
I was eventually able to pet both of them for just a second or two before they skittered away. One of the plantation staff offered to send them home with me. I suspect their lives are not healthy or long, so I would have if I could!
As we motored back to Rodney Bay, the captain brought us close (but not through - it was not that big!) to this natural underpass.
This next picture was taken in Castries at the market. This massive market offered fresh vegetables, fruit, local fish, spices, even clothing and crafts.
When we found this sign down a side street...it also provided some bathroom humor! (NOTE: this may be offensive to some....you may want to stop here)

That sign is priceless. They could have put "urinate." LOL.
Lovely vacation pics...It's -24C windchill right now and the snowstorm is raging outside. I think I'll just look at your photos again and daydream of warmer days to come.
